Joy Maki is a Japanese American designer and multidisciplinary artist with a BA from Berea College.
While at Berea, she served as the student hair and makeup designer, bringing characters to life on stage through detailed visual storytelling.
Her design experience spans both academic and independent projects, including makeup schematics and costume design for theatre and character builds. Joy approaches each design with intentionality, balancing creativity with research.
